Some of our most notable projects
NORTHWEST POWER
Inspired by Jimmy Carter and the 1979 Oil Crisis, Northwest Power Company was an early renewable energy power company.  Jim was a founding partner and ultimately had over $150 million dollars of projects under development.  Carbon emissions avoided over the last 35 years due to NWP renewable projects are equivalent to 680 million pounds of coal burned.
EL DORADO HYDROELECTRIC PROJECT
Consultant to El Dorado County Board of Supervisor, El Dorado County Water Agency and El Dorado Irrigation District.  Provided strategic analysis and extended operations support resulting in the acquisition of the project by El Dorado Irrigation District.  The project provides 32,000 AF of consumptive water supply and $10 million in annual power sales revenue.  Affordable water supply for the historic and economically critical Apple Hill region, near Camino, CA, was ensured through this effort.
ENERGY WATCH PROGRAMS
Using ratepayer dollars and partnerships with local governments, we helped local business and governments save millions of dollars through energy efficiency retrofits and energy management.
UC MED CENTER
We supported UC Davis Med Center with Title 24 compliance, energy benchmarking, metering systems and preliminary solar covered parking system designs.
PLACER COUNTY
Since 2010, we've provided strategic energy and power management consulting services to Placer County, saving over $1.5 million/yr.  The most recent project is a multi site carport PV system with a capacity of 4 MW  substantially reducing carbon footprint of county buildings and saving millions over the life of the projects.
